Customer Introduction:
Several customers faced a common challenge, which was effectively resolved through the introduction of colour tagging in OurSys.
Problem / Goal:
OurSys already provided additional fields through Attributes, but these were text-based and not visually intuitive. For example, customers often categorised enquiry stages as Enquiry, Quotation, Demonstration, Negotiation, and Finalisation. In addition, they wanted to quickly see whether a case was Hot, Warm, or Cold. Text alone did not allow for instant recognition, making it difficult to identify document status at a glance.
The Solution:
OurSys introduced a colour-coded square displayed alongside each document number. Customers can define their own colour conventions and assign specific meanings to each colour. When a user selects a colour for a document, it is consistently shown in the report, enabling quick and easy identification.

This feature provides a simple yet powerful way to visually classify and track documents, saving time and improving clarity.
