On Sales Order Attributes feature

Customer Introduction:

This company is a global supplier of custom made valves.

Problem / Goal:

This company required extra data fields in Sales Order beyond the fields available in OurSys. This required a major change in OurSys. Also those fields did not make any sense to other customers of Oursys. But those fields were extremely important for this customer to capture.

The Solution:

We developed a new feature of adding custom fields to Sales Orders. These fields are called Attributes. Attributes can be named as per requirement and every customer can have their own fields.

The Result / Benefits:

This feature solved the issue of additional data requirement without creating confusion and clutter for other customers. Also, each customer is able to create their own fields if required.
